# 1 Picard Maneuver Suggestion

I heard back when the game was being developed that the devs wanted to make the Picard Maneuver work within the game but never could really make it feasible.

I was brainstorming about this ability today...

Wouldn't it be possible to create an animation to do a quicker "full impulse" move that would last up to 10 KM (or manually stopped if you decrease throttle), give 125 to weapon power while draining other levels for X amount of secs and automatically firing all weapons?

Edit: I forgot to mention about breaking sensor lock. Even if it's just a simple sensor break, it would be good enough.

I think it would add value to the game. Would be a high lvl abilty.

I think it would too. The Picard Maneuver is always a popular thought for games....

I believe it would be a great add on for a Tact BO ability or Capt ability (if there's another ability made up for the other Capt classes).

I actually suggested a way how this could be implemented here.

With some tweaking and balancing it could work
