Can you PLEASE include the excelsior class as a starship? A PLAYABLE starship. Would be awesome. Thanks.

They should have that option, the Excelsior-class and the option to design its variants like the USS Enterprise-B version or the USS Lakota from DS9. Maybe they were planning it for the C-store anyways!

IMO they should fix the existing sub-par models like the Galaxy(comeplete sheit) and Intrepid before they move on to adding entirely new ships, as much as i want the excelsior.

I think it would have made more sense for the excelsior to take the spot of the constitution.

I'm all for it, but where should it go? Should it be a 4th ship alongside the Constitution, Excalibur, and Vesper that can be refit with pieces of those ships? Or should it and 2 other new, similar looking ships be included as an alternate tier 1 block of ships? Should it be introduced as an alternate tier 2 option to the Cheyenne, Dakota, and Stargazer block of ships?

Alongside the Constitution. This way you get an awesome ship when you're just starting out. Rewards you actually playing the game to a certain extent.

All of the Enterprise model classes should be available. From the TOS Constitution to the Sovereign class version. Since Enterprise B wasn't ever given its own class specification, a modified Excelsior is close.
