Apparently this "downtime thread" escaped my keen dragon's eye.
I will be locking it now.

It's still open.

You might want to just have the devs start locking the threads after they c&p the appropriate downtime notice from wherever they're kept.

You might also want to change the message on the patcher that still says the servers are down...

Ah "Wherever they are kept" I was wondering where that actually was. A stickied link would be useful.

Uh not quite.

While it's nice to hear that the servers are actually running (guess all that "unplanned downtime" let you folks do your work ahead of schedule?) how about:

1- getting more servers online to increase capacity
2- reimbursing those Boff that we are missing? I'm owed a female Trill science offier, dammit!!
3- opening up new areas for us to play in (I saw one guy griping that there's no endgame content already)

* Optional: think about special events/items/buffs/quests for holidays like Valentines' Day or Patrick Stewart's birthday :p

I donno if anyone in Cyrptic will read this but I just checked around on the Internet and if you do scheduled Maintenance at 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. GMT, on all but weekends, that should fall in a time outside of most peoples peak time. From 11 p.m. to 1 a.m. American PST to 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aussie AEDT .
