"Login failed for unknown reason" error
Missing additional character slot for current/ lapsed Gold Members
Slow patching in the launcher
A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
Some characters were stuck in a loading screen with a "Server Not Responding" message
Strangely, Capulet and I made "Soong-type" Androids last night.. basically just picked traits that made sense and hers was basically a resurrected Lal.. mine was just a successful build by the Daystrom Institute by Geordi after they had studied all the information gathered from Data/B4/Lal and of course Lores deactivated body.
B-9 (also the original name for B-4 in the Nemesis script.. so I thought it was fitting)
Do you still have the character formula for that android? I would like to make my own version too.

I just made it up when I did it.. I'm sure Capulets "Lal" has different traits than I do. Unfortunately "Slicked back hair 02" isn't an option for male characters which is really strange too. So I just used the Groomed 01 though one of the "close" hair styles might work better. Lal doesn't have the golden skin/eyes, but B-9 does.. it's more of just a RP thing.. I know I used Efficient, Strength, and Resilient perhaps.. It's more or less a personal preference as your android may have been built to different specifications.

Yeah, I always thought that what they meant by "special" bridge officers would be that we would come across things like holigrams and androids. I want a Mark 1 hologram on my ship as well as a Data, and have since before release. So I hope they'll get them eventually.
I am sure if you all want Aiden or I may share our design specifications to assure proper duplication of the models. While options like hair and clothing are not available currently for a 100% authentic look I believe I came admirably close with about 30 minutes of so playing with sliders.
Though the initial attempt to create a Lal actual was more of overcoming a challenge than anything I really enjoy my accomplishment. For RP purposes Her bio will be rewritten so that she is a design modeled after Lal and took the name in homage of her deceased mother and father.
Presently, I'm using an 'alien species' with a bio that makes her out to be a gynoid from Galor IV, otherwise known as Planet Mudd from 'I, Mudd' in the classic series. There's something of a tradition of sentient androids of all types in Star Trek. And with emerging Photonic sentience, one would imagine that such machine intelligences next step would be to construct bodies not reliant on Mobile Emitters like the Doctor's 29th century tech. So with all the research going on at the Daystrom on such stuff, might we someday be able to play as an android, gynoid or photonic? Would you even be INTERESTED in playing one if given the chance?

You can customize them with traits (strength, resistances, etc.)
The only thing missing will be the words "android" on your character sheet.

Actually, in Closed Beta, the stance called "Twitchy" was originally called "Android".
There seemed to be some leanings to making characters similar to "Data" because of this, most used the "Make-an-Alien" options.
Of course, this was ultimately changed to "Twitchy". It works well on characters not "Androids", too. Such as Avian types and even some reptile (Saurian) races.
Maybe in a future expansion, but part of being an android is "getting put together" so...putting together your own via "Make an Alien" isn't that bad of a thing.
