I don't know why but there is just something about hitting the Cloak getting behide someone decloak blast them out of the way and then recloak and move to the next person.

I'm getting close to Lt.Commander and I can't wait to get my next BoP!

It gets significantly harder in t2. In t1, you're often fighting complete new people who may not even know how to adjust shields.

In t2, you'll want to target ships that heal other ships first, and then escorts second. Get the enemy broken up and then defeat them while they are seperated.

It's important to organize. If noone is calling targets or forming the group, you call targets or form the group.

I'm loving pvp as a klingon also, but I really don't wanna lvl all the way up doing nothing but. I'm also really afraid that when I do hit tier 5 and try and fly a BoP that it won't even be able to punch through the shield of a Fed ship.

This is very easy to do.

I'm in the same boat - Klingons are FUN. PvP is actually pretty well balanced. And, for the record, its very easy to tear apart any Fed ship under the right circumstances. Attack Pattern Alpha, Cannon Rapid Fire, High Yield Torpedo, then decloak behind them and let loose. KIlls in like, 5 seconds.

However, there is ONE problem wih Klingons... it takes forever to rank up. Ten times as long as it does for the Feds. It needs to be fixed for sure.

The best way to become a good fed pvp'er is to become a good kdf pvper.

Know your enemy.

Yup, meat is on the mark there. Klingons are all pvp, and though they are weaker they make up for it with a quick more foward facing attack... The better you understand how to kill a fed, the better you understand how to fight as a fed.

Yeah the first time you uncloak and unload, and then get tractored when you hit evasive you'll realize "oh, crap time to die."

When you uncloak and get focus fired with overcharged beams and die in about 3/4 of a second, you'll go through the grueling self debate of swapping RSP for CRF.

When you cloak with 2% hull and evasive away, and you manage to survive because the feds targetting you don't fire torps, you'll smirk and say "heh, newbs."

When your planned attack turns to a complete mess because the enemy scrambles sensors just as you launch your attack, causing your healers to heal the wrong targets and your auto assist to screw up.

When you die time and time again to fed premades whose TEN THOUSAND POINT SHIELDS you cannot even put a dent in. Yes, paratrinic 6500 shield + sci ship bonus.

Each and every fed player who thinks it is easy being a kdf, needs to try it. If you think you can handle it.

It's actually much, much harder. The reason they're good however, is they do nothing but kill.

and if you played fed first then plaied kligon after you max your kligon and start pvping as fed again you will wonder why it was so hard to win on the fed side before

Ain't never been said truer than this.

Playing KDF side grows your balls, honestly. You'll go back fed side and start playing how you HAD to play on the kdf side.

You'll keep a set of spare boffs for support/dps, and you'll switch up depending on team composition.

You'll always keep AE snares / cloakdroppers handy (CPB / GW) - after getting screwed with them, you know what hurts, and you'll have them.

You'll realize how to use obstacles and mines to make stealthed approaches difficult.

You'll know how to keep the KDF off balance, how to recover your dead, how to win the initial battle and you'll be giving direction to your teammates.

You'll see the difference that skill makes. Everyone does.
