I've noticed when I'm engaged in combat, and my shields or hull integrity is low, I apply the appropriate heal/buff.


However, my teammates receive the buff 75% or so of the time. It seems to be when my target's 'target' is one of my teammates is when it happens..

Does anyone have any idea how to fix that? It's quite irrittaing, I really don't have time IN COMBAT to target myself and then heal. Especially if I'm low on shields/hull integrity.

Dont target anything and the buff is to self. I`ve notic ed this one too, and works like an assist to the hostile ship attacking a friendly vesseel.

The best way to deal with this is to go into your options and turn assist targeting off. With it on all you're doing is buffing the target of the enemy you have targeted, and not buffing yourself as you should be.

F1 I think is the target self hotkey.

Esc clears any target you have.
