# 1 Leveling

Ok - I have a simple question. How have so many people leveled so quickly. I've been playing since head start and am still LC1.

Is it just the amount of time - or am I missing something?

Do one +2-3 mission after another whenever you play, the higher level you are, the faster speed you levell, strangely.

Don't worry about it though. I've been RA5 for a while now, and each day at 1:44PM my daily pops so I "put in my time" - 45 minutes each day (I do the explore B'tan at the same time as daily), then I'm done for 24 hours.

So really, much reason to play ends with cap.

Just out of curiosity, since you have been playing since head start, how many minutes a day do you have time to play the game?

The more time you have, of course the faster you level. On average it would take 1-1.5 hours per level from Lt. to Lt. Comm. After that it can take 1-2 hours per level, or so. Then you have to decide how much time a day you want to put in to it.

If you want to level extremely fast, there is a couple ways to do it, but take advantage now, because cryptic will be taking them away ASAP.

It's no secret... just do your missions in order. Don't PvP or waste time until you are RA5. There was a bug a while back where you could hop instances of Deep Space Encounters and keep getting credit for them without having to do anything but that's fixed now. Not that alot of people were doing this on purpose, it just kind of happened every once in a while.

Exploration missions give you plenty of skill points, do them. Before they fixed it you could just keep doing these one after another... now there is a half-hour cooldown.

And those players that already knew the story and where everything was, from being in CB, OB and Head-Start, just powered through all the repetitive missions in no-time at all.

In the end, you will not be able to level as quickly as when the game first came out (in the first week or two).

I am leveling my second captain now and I am LtC 6 and it does seem to be going rather more slowly than in the first few days after release. Other than that... Escorts level sooo much faster than anything else it seems.

I've heard the escorts level faster - but I wanted the feel of being a captain on an Enterprise type ship. So my tactical officer picked the cruiser when I hit LC. I wasn't sure about enough aspects of the game to know if I'd be able to pick both.

I spend maybe an hour a day playing - it just seems to be going very slow copmared to other games I've played. In WoW I get to level 10 in like two hours play time max it seems.
