Hi there, I can only point you to my Basic Guide to Space PvP and hope that it helps you and your team mates have more success.

Personally speaking, I rarely lost T2 matches as Fed, but there were many fun close ones (15-13, 15-14).

The KDF has better 'escorts' than fed does. Playing them escort vs escort is throwing the game away.

That said, you don't 'play an escort.' You're a captain choosing to fly an escort into a hostile engagement. When you start choosing to fly a sci ship or cruiser into that same engagement, you'll still be a captain choosing - but now you'll be playing to win.

Well, the good players don't qq here, so - draw your own conclusions.

Meat is feeding you nuggets of delicious wisdom here , just because your a tac officer doesnt mean you have to fly an escort. (infact until t4 and up its foolish to do so.)

From my perspective when playing KDF in tier 2, if the mix was significantly escorts I knew it would be an easy win. Pop the scorts, then the sci and once you get the 'scorts seperated, kill them where they spawn.

Whenever I have been up against cruisers and sci ships, it's been a much harder battle and I have lost some great fights in t2 as kdf against feds who pulled it off.

Frantically typing "PFB! cease fire!" and "rsp, switch to second target now!"

Without vent to coordinate, a good fed group with the right composition and a little cross support is a hard nut to crack.

I usually just type enemy names. Mainly because the chat system is so inconvenient. Can't tell you how many times I've had turning and ability keybinds spammed in the chat window.
