I'm looking to either join a fleet or start a new one. First a little about myself....

IRL: I'm a 22 year old college student. STO is my first real MMO. I pre-ordered STO and started playing back in Open Beta. I don't play a lot. I usually play on evenings and sometime late at night on weekends. My time zone is EST. Right now I mainly play PvE by myself or sometimes auto-grouped.

In-Game: My Federation character is a human named Nived. He is an engineer and was just promoted to Lieutenant Commander. My ship is a tier 2 Cruiser, but I might try an escort later on. I also have a Klingon character who is a half-Klingon tactical officer. I don't play with the Klingon character often though.

I'm looking to join or create a small casual fleet. I want to have some people to play with, explore some of the social aspects of the game and have some fun.

What I'm looking for:
Small Fleet
Casual - I only play when I have the time.
Mature - I would prefer members that are at least 16yo
Friendly Members
A website, forum, and voice chat are a plus

If you think you fleet would be a good fit for me, post here. If you are interested in helping me start a new fleet, post here as well.

Greetings Nived,

As a member of the Canadian Federation i'd like to extend an invitation to you. We are a casual fleet, with many members in Canada, but we also accept people from all over, such as myself! We are a very friendly group of people and have several divisions that you could join. There's a link to our website in my signature and we do have a vent server for voice chat.

Anyway have a look and if it's something that sparks your interest register and put a post up. We would be happy to have you join our fleet, but regardless if where you end up we wish you the best of luck.

Over and out!

Heya,

The Light Knights may be worth you checking out. We are a medium sized EU/NA fleet (part of a larger gaming community) who are actively looking for new members.

I wont bore you with a wall of text, but if you want to know more please check out our thread here on the forum:

http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=92895

or our portal/forum directly:

What luck, I too am trying to form a fleet. I currently don't have a website of my own, but I am mature. I am currently 32 years of age. I am trying to get a group of 5 players before starting a Fleet. For a little more info, check out the link in my sig.

The Sentinels are a multi-gaming community with an average age of 30+ and no drama!

We have an active membership in several different MMO's and are building our Starfleet Division here in STO. At this point we have about 40 to 50 active members in our fleet and are steadily growing. The overall guild has over 500 active members and we also maintain our own guild Ventrilo server. We look for quality over quantity, and have a very thorough application process. Its our goal to make sure you are as happy with us as we will be with you.

Our retention rate is very high as we promote more of a gaming community then a single game guild.

Feel free to check out our recruitment thread at http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=94701 or just follow the links in my signature to learn more about us.

Hi Nived!

I think that Diamaon Katana meets all of your criteria. We are a long-standing guild that has spanned many years and games. We are casual, mature, and friendly. We don't believe in a long list of rules, but rather rely on shared values of respect, camaraderie, trust, and fun to keep the guild strong. While most of our members are a bit older that you (30s and 40s), maturity level is more important than age, per se.

We don't necessarily concentrate on one particular style of play. To each their own. Some of us like to focus on PvE, some of us like to mix in some PvP, but we all like to find common ground to go out and have some fun.

We tend to keep our numbers modest, preferring quality over quantity, but we love to make new friends from all over the world. If that sounds good to you, check us out further at http://www.diamondkatana.com, where you will also find instructions to apply.

You can also contact the following founding officers in-game.

* Ian, Jesper, or Turok @Flammable70.
* Grimm@Veritaes (speaks both English and French)

Cheers!

If you want to join a casual fleet, check out http://www.sfh-fleet.com/, We have mature members who are friendly and willing to help.
We have TS3, IM service, dedicated servers for the fleet, forums and irc room. There is always at least one person online playing STO. So it won't be too hard to find a person to help you out with quest or join you in PvP matches.

Look for me in game Zombie Chan@zombieChan51 if you have any question.
