G15 and G19 as well. Its the only serious answer to games like this.

What I find amusing is how gaming companies won't produce UI libraries in the name of keeping their game "pure". Which of course means, the only people who suffer are the casual gamer and people new to gaming.

"How is it that guy can shoot me, expose me, and then exploit me so quick? Then be back to his primary weapon?"

Its called the G19 baby!

While you're fumbling around with that BS HUD that Cryptic won't let us modify ... those guys you think are exploiting, are just using the tools and software available to them on the market.

Delay 0.075
[Press] 1
[Release] 1
Delay 0.075
[Release] CTRL

It seems to need a longer delay if the computer is working hard, such as a busy sol base.
Thanks! I will try this when I get home from work. Just haveing a macro auto stabilize my shileds has been such a help. I want to get things like that on a hidden bar as I prefer to use the '2' tab so I can still see my officers.

Thanks,

*Update - This worked like a charm. Thank you so very much!

I've been having trouble getting my G11 to register the key at all. I push it and nothing happens. Whether I put in a pause or not it just refuses to do anything. Never had this problem with any other game and I've been using the G-Series since the original G15.

Mine works perfectly well, Win 7 x64. Just saying, if there's a problem, it's not general.

you dont need to set up a macro to fire weapons in space.. there is an option for it.. go to options .. controls.. at the bottom you will find a drop down menu .. set it to toggle, never changes..

then.. right click on all your weapons on the weapons panel.. so they turn green.. then all ya gotta do is hit your space bar.. and then hit it when you wanna stop shooting.. simple..

you should use the game bind mechanic for complex binds. these binds work much better.
just assign the single key, for the bind activation, on the g-key, when it is more comfortable for you
