# 1 searching for a good fleet
02-18-2010, 07:18 AM
Looking for a fleet to learn from and fly with. Have one character, O'Niell, currently Lieutenant Commander I. Only been on for a few days, so still learning the ropes. However, have experience with other MMO's (2+ years of EVE). Don't want a fleet with drama. Do NOT want a role playing fleet. Am east coast US, but play times currently are most of the day time during the week (9am to 6pm eastern), so might fit better with a fleet across the pond . Respond here or chat me in game.

Hello Cpt_Squirrel! I'm one of the recruiting officers for the Flaming Pie Squadron, a group of multi-MMO gaming folks that are both US & EU based (US here myself) with ages ranging from the low 20's to mid 40's (and even one newer fellow out in CA who's in his mid 50's!).. I won't waste time and space reposting in fancy formatting and colors what you can already read for yourself in the linked thread below, but to sum us up, we're a mature fleet who focuses on comradarie, alot of humor/laughs and bottom line: fun. Pretty laid back group that knows how to listen to & help each other when needed, organize and get things done when need be, but otherwise absolutely does not take itself too seriously nor have some overbearing rigid rank structure or the like. So I invite you to read about us in our recruitment thread linked below and corresponding guild website which can be found within:

http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=88456

Regardless of your decision, I wish you good fortune going forward in your adventures around the galaxy!

As a representative of the Canadian Federation it is my honour to extend an invitation to you.

Our members are mature and practical in their conduct. We were formed by casual players whom like to have all the benefits of a fleet without any of the hassles of a rigid command structure. While we may be casual we are very dedicated. Above all else our fleet is about getting together and having fun with our members. The majority of our members are Canadian and American, but don't let that hold you back, we are open to everyone. We have a dedicated Ventrilo server for Fleet communication.

We currently have over 85 helpful, active members and are growing every day.

So if you like what you hear, please come and check out our site. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me or any of our other fleet members. The link to the website is in my signature below.

Wherever you make your home we wish you the best of luck, but hope you can make a home with us.

Thank you for your consideration,

The Canadian Federation

The Sentinels are a multi-gaming community with an average age of 30+ and no drama!

We have an active membership in several different MMO's and are building our Starfleet Division here in STO. At this point we have about 40 to 50 active members in our fleet and are steadily growing. The overall guild has over 500 active members and we also maintain our own guild Ventrilo server. We look for quality over quantity, and have a very thorough application process. Its our goal to make sure you are as happy with us as we will be with you.

Our retention rate is very high as we promote more of a gaming community then a single game guild.

Feel free to check out our recruitment thread at http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=94701 or just follow the links in my signature to learn more about us.

Please spend a few minutes on our website and check out LNR Fleet. After we hit the 250 member cap, we made more room for new members. You can now join LNR!

We are a Fleet/Guild that is founded on being inclusive. Here are some important facts you should know:

* Casual & mature - Anyone can join who will follow and help enforce our charter

* Stable - Established guild with over 6 years experience

* Multi-game guild - While many stay in a game (I'm a lifetimer) as you might move on to new games, so do others in LNR. Stay with the same gang as new games come out.

* PVP - For those interested, we have highly organized PVP teams and events

* Strong Leadership - Members can prove themselves and become highest ranking leaders through our election process - All of our leadership was elected -- they have proven their leadership

* Voice Chat - Private Vent server (only join if you want)

* Strong communication - Full featured website (over 100,000 posts), roster, forums, chat, image gallery, and more spend your game time ...gaming...discuss guild matters on the website

* Inclusive guild - not exclusive - We don't require you to be on at certain hours, play certain amount of time, or play a certain way...you play how you want to.

If you would like to join, click here and add your name to the 'invite me to fleet' list.

Please join us and learn what it is to be part of a legendary Guild.

Feel free to check us and and learn more at www.GoLegend.com

# 7 - Clan Hunters -
02-24-2010, 11:53 PM
If you are interested in a fleet of Mature, Fun, Helpful people, check out our Fleet.

The – Clan Hunters – has existed since before 2000, it all started on Armada I and expanded to Armada II and many other Star Trek and non Star Trek games.
We are a pretty laid back fleet with few rules to follow.
We are an International Fleet so there is always someone online in your time zone, or whatever time of the day you might find yourself in front of the PC.
You should be able to do whatever you want in our Fleet, we do not force anyone to do this or do that if someone wants to PVP, they can create a group and go PVP if someone wants to RP they can create a group and go RP.

We have a Website, new Forums, and Ventrilo server.

What we are looking for:
Someone that can follow our simple rules of conduct, we are an international fleet and we do not badmouth others or other fleets.
Someone that does not take ranks to serious, but enjoy excelling by being friendly and helpful
We are also looking for people who like to be part of forming the clan into something that is enjoyable for everyone, taking part on the forums setting up PVP games and doing missions as a group.

If you have knowledge of running a fleet, setting up websites, forums etc you are more than welcome to help out with things that needs to be done.
We often have discussions on the forums with things that can be a benefit of the everyone, and everyone in the Fleet has a right to vote on the matter.
We value everyone’s input and opinions.

If you are interested in joining:
Post a comment to our tread on STO http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho...d.php?t=110629
Visit our site and forums www.ClanHuntersHQ.com
You can also pm me in the game Nikita@NikitaCH
And if you actually took the time to read all this you should know that yes I am a Female, and yes I am a ST Fan.

You want across the Pond - how about the British Starfleet Corps, my new and highly recruitable friend We've got a wealth of experienced players and even entire departments set up to help you learn the game and get the most from it. We're roleplay friendly, but you won't find yourself having to open hailing frequencies every time you want to talk to the Admiral!

Plus, we've had stable "management" for years - no drama here.

So, anyway - canned statement time, listen up!

About Us
Founded during the Pre-Order headstart, the British Starfleet Corps is a multi-nationality Fleet with both EU and US Admirals to ensure all timezones are catered for.

We supply both out-of-game forums and a voice chat server (Ventrilo) to help build a sense of community and to facilitate our frequent Fleet Events.

We are best suited for players who enjoy the game on their terms (be that PvP, PvE, crafting, tribble breeding, end-game raidisodes etc.) who like a relaxed and friendly atmosphere of helpful players to reside with.

Our Ranks and Squadrons
We have a simple community rank system that is common to all our gaming branches. These are then named accordingly for the game they are part of. For the British Starfleet Corps, these are...

Community Leaders (Admirals) -> Council Members (Commodores) -> Branch Officers (Squadron Leaders) -> Branch Sergeants (Captains)-> BSC Members (Flight Officers)

The Fleet has seven departments (Squadrons) each of which have a Leader and two Captains - Klingon Fleet, Escort Squadron, Science Squadron, Cruiser Squadron, Recruitment, Fleet Events, Quartermaster.

These exist to assist, organise and help our members with whatever they want to achieve ingame. Flight Officers are not actually "assigned" to a Squadron and can seek help from any corner of the Fleet.

About the BSC Community
Originally formed in 2002 in Westwood (EA's) MMO Earth and Beyond as the British Space Corps, the guild expanded first to EVE Online as the British Space Corporation and then beyond.

Today, we span over multiple games with varying names that conform to the BSC tag (for example, our WOW US branch is the Blood Sworn Coalition, the CoH Branch is the British Superhero Corps and here in Star Trek we're the British Starfleet Corps). We are a family friendly, multi-gaming, casual-friendly guild with a strong leadership that spans our entire history.
