I'm flying an escort and it is imperative that I can rotate to get torpedos to hit shields and sides that I need.

I understand that torpedos track and there is some lag compensation. However, I've had torpedos hit the shields they were facing after I've rotated 180-degrees. It seems to me that the lag tracking is set too high and they impact shield facings regardless of actual movement of my ship.

Has anyone else seen this problem?

I have had torpedos hit the opposite side of the ship from where they SHOULD hit, but not due to me turning that I've noticed.

Sometimes I'm flying head on to combat and my rear shields get hit even though that end never faced the enemy.

That's even worse than mine!
