I just watched a star cruiser, sitting at the spawn, get attacked, do ramming speed to get away from the attackers, and proceed to sit there, when he was in a safe spot... We need a system that will counter leaching in the DSEs... I'm tired of me doing the work, with others getting the fast and easy xp because of it... Perhaps, to beat the defend missions, you have to kill afew to have it go through?

I have seen this too. I guess the best way to deal with this is to switch instances if you notice someone is not fighting without giving a reason.

They just need to make them auto group like patrol missions. That way you can kick them and they'll be booted from the zone.

Or you have to be on a team to get any credit.

I just die right off and go make a sandwich and them respawn when there is one group left to kill. That way people cant see you leeching!

There should be something to stop leeching, but I don't really mind as long as they aren't inconveniencing me. Personally, I usually switch instances until I'm alone and just do everything myself. Easiest that way. Don't have to worry about superspawns.

LOL. Wow, are people really doing this?
I mean, why play the game if you're not going to play the game? I don't get it.
I can understand if the game is a totally mind numbing grind fest.
But this is one of the easiest games to level I have ever played.
Just complete your quests and you'll be Admiral before you know it.
Why leech your way to the top? That actually seems slower.

I must say that I DO so enjoy being able to walk away from the computer without having to exit an instance and manage what ever pulled me away from the computer.

However, if people are abusing this then there should be a way to vote someone out of an instance. Right click on ship/name or type /kick idle or something.
