# 1 PvP Bug

I've been noticing that if you use Teams (Engineering, Science, Tactical) while having an opponent targeted, it doesn't work on you (the player).

And if far away, you can't use the Engineering EPS ability.

If you had an ally targetted just before you targetted an enemy, then ANY powers that can work on an ally will go to the ally you had targetted. In addition (and why you think you're having an issue), if that same ally is out of range for that power, then the power simply won't work at all.

For whatever reason, the game will not default to making powers work on yourself if you target an enemy after you target an ally. IMO this should be a behavior we can change with a checkbox or something.

quickest workaround is to hit f1 before you use the ability, and make sure that your still targetting yourself. its pretty lame though.

Indeed, it's funny that it will work for PvE, but not PvP.

But the way you put it, it is a bug. Because you should not have the ability to buff a person on the opposite team. So like in PvE, it defaults to you if an ally isn't targeted.
