No, EA and Westwood were no where near this. That's just more cryptic fail that might even get them sued if it constitutes a recognizable property for another studio which I think it does since you posted this.

I was like, prepared to respond with how EA has butchered C+C4..but im currently giving a great deal of time and effort to studying the OP's avatar... for scientific purposes.

it can be said that Tiberium can be a ficticious element named for either shakesperes Tibor (star trek loves shakespeare) or for the Tiberius in James Tiberius kirk.

its a tough claim for EA to make, and I doubt its worth their time to bother
