I took my commander the Crack the Planet Fleet Action to get it off my list. I noticed if I did not fire on the Klingons, they would let me pass. However if I actually attacked one, all them in the area would attack me and were very capible of killing me quickly. I ran it, outside the one battle and the final push, I got 19 of the 20 arrays running by the kilingons and took first place doubling the second places score (which I gave the reward item to, a nice blue ground weapon Mk III, didn't pay much attention to it)

I think there is some left over code in the melee for level ranges, in STO ground battle, there is not that much difference between levels for this to happen. Ships do not seem to have this problem.
