Granted i like the color scheme(purple and green checkerboard), it matches my lava lamp, however i do wish to see what the planet looks like. Thus far it's only happened three times, two times when there is a binary planet system (and i assume the planet i cant see is white) and Andoria, in which it is also a binary planet system and is an arctic planet.

link still broken! how ever i think iv seen what your on about, back in beta i would get what sounds like what your discribing when minimizing the game (alt/tabing) the game, i also got a similar effect with champions online
when doing the same!

Fastest way, get a better graphics card. Slower way, update your drivers, then tweak yours settings, unless something on your board or card is fried, then follow the first solution.

In short, your textures aren't loading or are missing/can't be accessed, which actually the sensible thing would be to redl them all I suppose. Though there's plenty of other reasons why this would happen.

on a laptop, drivers are updated, and i think it just might be missing ice planet textures. thank you for your blunt help.
