No, just hear me out. I am very aware of the video you linked. It's just that what they envisioned back then, and what this game has been designed to be are two very different things. Rather than a a collective galaxy of events and missions, STO has arisen as a collection of systems superficially imposed onto a galaxy-like framework. There is no galaxy to move around that has any impact on the game play. In fact, as a Klingon one needn't move around much if at all, since PvP queues are completely accessible from the UI alone.
Obviously, something about this game design took a serious turn south from the time of that video till closed beta. When did Zinc actually come on board to head this project?
If STO were the Titanic (and it may yet be) we Klingons are the folks down below (steerage passengers) that don't get seats on the lifeboat.
