We have already alerted DEV staff and QA will be providing further investigation as well.

Correct me if Im wrong, but the idea of this weapon is to fire at things that are out of LOS using a built in transporter.

Change it at your own peril =)

I was in Roypwn's team and yes that rifle makes the job so much quicker and easier, thanks.

Point is though if from the start the rifle has that feature then by logic this is why the rifle so useful. Okay it's uber useful compared to the preorder tribble etc but still it's a perk of getting that preorder and sadly I don't have it.

why don't you alert the devs in charge of creating Infected and tell them to make the last room easier because it's obviously too difficult if people need to glitch it to complete it.

Learn to play :p

I've beaten infected 9 times now, never glitched on purpose, 7 of those times with pickup groups. Its not too hard, you just need everyone on your group knowing what they are doing.

But didn't most transporters not work through shields?

And by canon, Transporters are blocked by Deflectors and Force Fields.

yeah, if it was a spherical (like ships) or cubical (borg ships) force field it would make sense. atm blocking the rifle would not.... hmmm, job for the art/enviromnent team?

If the generator was made invisible until its protective shield was down, it would fix this problem tbh, or make it "friendly" until the shield is dropped, then make it hostile/attackable until it goes up again (if it does) :p
