True I am not sure what happen there, sorry about that.

What I meant to say is that I don’t use the ring that appears around my ship to monitor the various shields strength. Instead I use the Hud's top down icon version that is roughly at the bottom middle of the screen, well on mine it is,. Also when you take a screen shot in battle the shield rings of both you and all other ships in combat show up.

Also I like to use a program called Fraps to make little clips from games, but in this case those shield rings really ruin the effect.

So it would be nice if you could turn it off.
