Many skills, when I try to remove points from them, give me an error message saying that they are required for Star Cruiser Captain.
I receive the error when trying to remove points from unrelated skills like Plasma Weapons or Generators.
EDIT: I now understand that this is because you MUST spend the requisite number of points on lower level skills before buffing higher level skills. This was not clear from the error message.
