# 1 Whats the STO RP chat channel?
03-28-2010, 10:42 AM
Couldn't find it in these forums, maybe i'm blind, usually by now an RP structure has formed and they use a player channel in game to meet up, announce, RP.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

There are several RP channels in STO. The one I am most familiar with is called SubspaceRP

isn't that a contradiction? STORP being an OOC chat channel?

Star Trek Online Roleplayers. Only a bunch of roleplayers would make the distinction between OOC and IC, after all.

It and SubspaceRP were founded roughly in parallel during beta.

Yeah, it kind of sounds ironic at first. STORP is where the RPers can meet up and chat OOC, and use SubspaceRP for IC chat. We also use it to plan events and stuff, or to just see where the RPers are hanging out at the moment.

It's nice to have a place to chat and turn off the craziness of the zone channel.

I think there is also an IC chat channel for the KDF side, but I don't remember what it is.

A lot of the RPers are hanging out here if anyone's interested in checking it out. --> http://startrekonlineroleplayers.com
