No - this post is not what you think...

I'm wondering why it seems at least 90% of the BOs awarded during the level up New Bridge Officer missions are male (at least for me). I've been working on trying to build up a female only crew and every new BO I'm awarded is Male, while in the grand scheme of things this is trivial, I know, it still is a tad frustrating. I'm stuck with buying standard female BOs because the green and blue one's I've gotten have all been male.

Is it possible to either
A) mix up the randomness of BO assignments (more woman please)
B) As technically BO sex is non-game impacting (cosmetic) can we select the sex of the officer at assignment?

I'm guessing the Devs thought of that one.

They figured most of the subscribers would have 'augmented' female BOs filling the bridge of the U.S.S Harem, so the only way to make sure the male art assets actually got some use was to make most of the BO rewards male.

That way you'd at least see them in a window real quick while training Ensign Luscious.

Just buy them off the Exchange. That's what I did. :p

Most of mine are female. And vulcans. I'm sure its just random. I'm sure there is someone out there who believes bridge officers only come as female klingons.

This, and in fact every single Epic BO I recieved on my first BG, was an Orion female.

Great. Would you exchange one or too, especially A science, for one of my Nausicans, wich infact where all of my Epic Bos?

I guess there are some seriuos issues with the random-generating in the game.
I mean: With all three Chars i played I always got the same "Kind" of bos. During the Patrol missions with the Random-groups; when i was an Engineer-Cruiser I always got random groups full of Cruisers, with my Tac/Escort I always got random groups full of escorts, never a mix. The same in instances: if I fly arround as an escort I hardly see anything else then Escorts, as a Cruiser... the same with cruisers.

But back to topic: I gave up getting 2 alien Female Bos on rare or Very rare-qualety on Klingon side(Tac and Science, Enginier would be nice too...and of course I tried it with the exchange, i did spent more then 1 millon enegry on Bos I sold again at once because of the "false" gender^^), they obviously just do not exist at all as reward.

By the way: the Idea is not to create a Harem, just to recreate my Fed crew and I need "aliens" to "recreate" Humans and Trills and Vulcans(?Romulans?)^^

it's just random, and that in and of itself will inevitably lead you into a Chaos Theory situation. With emergent patterns from the chaos.

And I'm afraid I used them all. I've got a couple left on my current BG (with 3 left to get) Although the only thing that could seperate me from hot green flesh would be a sub target shields 3 atm. ^^

But I can see what I can do.

The thought of having an all female crew never even flashed across my considerable brain..

I had the exact opposite outcome! The vast majority of my BOs are female. Female Klingon, Female Andorian, Female Bolian, Femalie Alien (like 5 of these). etc....

Seems like some people are just predisposed to one gender for some odd reason.
