it bugged on the console for us too - twice in a row, the first time at 5/6 then second time at 1/6

this really needs to be fixed fast

Cant even get past the space part. So many spheres spawning before we can kill the last group. There's got to be a trick we havent found, havent made it past the 2nd wave. Help!!!

It is buggy you just have to be sure not to kill the nodes too fast whats happening it seems is that if you kill the node without extending the shield it bugs so take er easy pilgrim you should have to extend shields on all of the nodes. as far as the space goes keep yer big dps on one gate and primarily target the gate when the probes spawn. than when the shield goes up go immediatley after the probes. so say this is your fleet setup for it sci ship cruiser 3 escorts keep sci ship and cruiser at one gate keep the escorts at the other primarily dpsing the gate.. and by the way get behind it less agro from spawning probes. dps until the shield comes up than go after probes.. rinse and repeat.. the sci ship and cruiser just concentrate on the probes and other ships.. the escorts can help if needed when theirs is done.. but there is a 3 minute timer on respawns and when the gate comes back up you need to be in position behind the gate to dps it.. when one gate goes down it spawns 2 cubes from the other gate.. kill one of them and get your cruiser to kite the other drag it away from everyone else.. than everyone on the last gate kill it all the probes despawn after u kill the gate than go kill the cube.. it is tough but by no means impossible.. you just have to have good players in there thats what the stf's are designed for the more hardcore players.. you guys gotta remember that.. maybe you are just not as hardcore as you thought? best to go in with a preformed and designed group to work well.. than once people get used to it they can mess around with group makeup

the issues ive seen have nothing to do with player skill / how hardcore you are - it is bugged simple as

on 3rd attempt getting stuck inside a wall with no way out /stuck doesnt work, it shows how buggy this new STF is and it needs to get sorted out

I know that wasnt directed at you inparticular im just saying this isnt for the casual player because the more casual player isnt even gonna be able to get past the first space part. i agree the instance is buggy but i just completed it for the second time on my klingon we got the reward and valor for it.. we got bugged and got put in seperate instances in space we warped out and let the zone reset 15 mins later we were back in the zone killing donatru or whatever her name is.. I have noticed tho from what i have heard people say mostly in chat channel;s in game like TTS and such.. is that trhe people that are getting bugged on the sequences inside the facility are the ones that expose a node and vaporixze it or something without extending thew shields. you have to extend the shields thats how it is meant to be.. it needs fixing thats for sure im not gonna deny that but it is possible to finish without getting bugged and like i said from my observations it has not happened to me personally but i have seen the groups that kill the node without extending the shield being down are the ones that are getting bugged..

Well this means that the so called casual players all can ditch STO all together... I think this is nonsense. It just takes some tactics... so do it... watch and learn... adapt (I know we are no Borg)... and try it again... it takes time, time WE are paying for.. *sarcasm on* go Cryptic... *sarcasm off*
If it is bugged then thats not acceptable... remember the WE are paying for it part... and its really frustrating when this happens.

Khitomer Accord is seriously buggy.

However, saying this needs to be tested more is inherently difficult. Too many people have been gated out of the STFs due to its difficulty, its prerequisites of needing to finish the prior 2 STFs and the number of people willing to go through grief.

The problem with testing is not to get it right. It's to try and get it wrong and draw out the bugs! People are bound to make mistakes and developers tend to get the "getting it right" correct. It's the "getting it wrong" that people always overlook in development.

So if we expect people to test STFs by getting it wrong, it means getting the Toms, Dicks and Harrys to try and get it wrong. Problem is what is the current % of the population even doing STFs. Now factor in the even smaller % testing anything in Tribble and we know we have a major issue.

So I'm interested. Exactly what mission content is there for the "casual" players at end game. Just the daily repeatables and the Borg DSE?

All the content is for "casual" and "hardcore" players, the only diff is that the hardcore can do it faster.

Unfortunatly apart from making every mission fully zergable by numpties who think hammering fire all weapons over and over = skill their will be very little content for unbelievably crappy players.
