Then you probably don't have the most up-to-date drivers. I have a HP Pavilion dv5 with nVidia 9600 M GT and am running the latest drivers from nVidia themselves, which are always more up-to-date than the ones provided by HP. In my case the HP drivers would be around a year old.
Using drivers not provided by the laptop manufacturer is done at your own risk, though.
Supposedly the manufacturer's drivers are the only ones properly adjusted for the specific laptop.
Anyway, Cryptic has a beef with us laptop users, as it seems, so even having the most superduper new graphics drivers won't necessarily stop STO from displaying that message.
