As far as i can tell it isnt bound to you when picked up so tradable.

Does only one kit drop (thus a 1 in 3 chance of it being useful) or does one drop for everyone?

just 1 at a time.

Though isnt really a 1 in 3 chance of being useful cos some of the kits might be aweful

Also of course depends on the group makeup. Either way though as i said they arnt bound to char, so you can trade them to other ones.

Try searching the exchange for purple kits. Its the only one coming up so far, but I could see a "Borg Mecanical Engineer" kit and a borg-specialized tactical officer kit too.

Where did you see it? In the exchange? We made this STF today and i also got this science kit... and i've only seen those kits on the exchange. Think it's the only one.

I didn't say there was an engineering or tactical kit. I was saying it'd make sense for The Cure to provide 1 kit per class that is meant to fight borgs.

Edit : I just realized that Tachyon Harmonic removes forcefields, which I guess would include the force fields used by the ground boss of The Cure? Any confirmation on this?

I tried messing around with tachyon harmonic on the ground boss earlier today (inspired by the new kit). The cover shields only last a few seconds before the boss recasts them, it takes a sec to target the cover shields and a sec to cast tachyon harmonic. Totally worthless for the cover shields.

Do these new kits have different, Borgier, appearances than the regular top level kits?

nah looks the same as normal med / pys kit
