Actually, he was killing a lot of them as he was the first to run in and decloak. I am not saying the rest of us were slacking, normally the teams were even or we (the KDF) were outnumbered. Honestly, some of those matches we should have lost. Therefore, the damage is not just on paper.

Just look at the title of the original post...obviously that excludes most pre-mades. That means we are talking primarily about PuGs. For PuGs, FBP + RSP is a very, very potent weapon.

I agree its a vary potent tool (FBP+RSP) but its one of those tools that loses its luster when players gain some experience. Once players learn to switch targets and stop shotting the players with FBP they stop seeing the really nasty fast deaths.

I know when i first started playing I would go crazy trying to figure out how I was dieing so fast then when I learned about FBP, I quickly learned to just stop shotting them and switch targets and those deaths seriously decreased.

My tactic for the Klink decloak attacks is to not attack the first klink in but to attack the last one in. I play an escort right now and I use the old Sargent York tactic of plucking off the last ship then work my way in because the players are so busy looking forward they don't pay attention to their flanks and if you kill them front to back then the ones in front dont always see whats happening until its to late.

One of my favorite things to do is when the klinks begin their attack I hit evasive maneuvers at 90 degress to the angle of attack then when i have a good amount of distance I turn around and start swooping on them, taking out the last klink then the next and next. Either they turn on me and slow down their forward attack or they keep attacking forward and let me pick them off.
