There are so many fleets listed it's hard to choose one. So, I'll do it this way......I'm a Tactical Captain on the East Coast of the US so I'm looking for a fleet preferably located in the Eastern Time Zone. I'd like to find a fleet with players close to my age range (30 something) that are here to have fun playing this wonderful game together, that are respectful to each other and try to help one another to rise up through the game. This is my 1st Online game that I've ever gotten involved with so all of this is new to me. Now, I've looked at some of the fleets listed on here but I figured by going about it this way, those that reply I'll give serious consideration to. Thanks.

Good morning. I hope you will take a moment and consider the Vulcan Kolinahr Fleet. Ours is a small but great (and growing) fleet. We are easy going, dedicated and friendly. We all come from different backgrounds and have different ways of doing things, but thatís what makes us great.

Anyone in our fleet is happy to help others when needed, in almost any aspect of the game. We have a fleet Ventrilo that we use not just for the game but to hang out as well. Many of us are located on the East Coast but we do have members scattered across the globe.

Although I say our fleet is dedicated, it also realizes that everyone has lives as well so therefore when you need to take the time, you don't need to be concerned about your position within the fleet being lost. We do not discriminate against such things because we understand ourselves that sometimes real life can become interfere and some time is needed to sort it out again.

So please think about joining us and move into 2409 armed with the best Intel, the most specific and targeted body of knowledge about STO, and a group of Fleet-mates who will be there with you in the crunch.

Let me assure you, I think you'll see the same 4-5 fleets responding to most of these LFF requests, and as far as I can tell, we're all very similar in being casual, not overly restrictive, more mature, etc. and I'm sure you'd be happy within any/all of them.

Here's one of my main suggestions: Do an in-game search on the fleet names when you play and see how many people from that fleet are logged in. It'll show you where they are located, what ranks, etc. It's a great way to quickly see activity, team work, etc. It's not a catch-all, because all fleets have down times, or weird days when no one seems around or maybe a group doing a STF just logged after 6 continuous hrs, but you'll learn a lot from doing that for a few days when you play.

Anyway, I represent The Shadows fleet. We're like most, as I said, allowing the casual member the freedom to play as they wish with a level of respect, maturity, and equality given to all its members. We have members mostly from the US TZ, CST/EST (not intentional), and run the STFs at least a few nights a week around 9p EST, usually limiting it to just a few hours, regardless of progress. We will help you if you want, or we'll leave you alone, if you want. There's almost always someone who'll help when needed, you'd just need to ask.

Please read about guiding principles and values of our fleet at and if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Good luck with your search.
