Slow patching in the launcher
A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
every once in a while, you might come across a patch of darker floor textures... which shows how beautiful the floor should look (exhibit B and C).
i have had those same oddities in the same type of facilities also but i wonder if it isn't something with these missions generated by the genesis system. i am always coming across odd stuff in these star cluster mission one of the most annoying of which is the lighting issues on a lot the under ground maps where you enter a room and you cant see anything but black then yo more a little bit and a couple secs later you can see again! and then in space having asteroids cast some weird looking shadows onto the ship.
not sure about others i currently using a pair of nvidia 9800gtx with 1 gb ram each in sli and pretty much graphics are at max except i have bloom or turned down i forgot how i has it set as that seemed to reduce the brightness a bit. also running the most current drivers
Strange, I submitted fixes for most of these issues quite a while ago. Does the OP have any recent screenshots of the problem?
I apologize for these bugs. They're actually somewhat difficult to deal with because the super-bright textures only appear that way on specific graphics cards with specific in-game graphics settings. I'll check to make sure my changes actually made it through... it's possible I didn't fix it for every hardware setup out there.
Hmm, my Memory Alpha - style maps are always bright like that; I've never seen a dark floor! I actually have a screenshot of it from yesterday (5/09).
