Sorry to break it to you JCSWW, but this seems to only be for text chat from what I can tell from using the Pidgin IM client, but others may allow Voice Over IP, Pidgin may also but so far I can't find the feature if it does.

I figured out that I can't join Fleet / Guild chat rooms by double clicking on them but I can join channel rooms.

This is what I did and all you have to do is click on Buddies > Join a Chat...

Then look to the right of where the window states 'Server' and you should see 'guilds.crypticspace.com' and what you need to do is change the word 'guilds' to 'channels' so the text reads 'channels.crypticspace.com' and then...

Look to the right of where the window states room, you should see an empty space to type into, you can type in the room / channel name, such as tts or communitywatch (lower caps / no spaces).

All I can say is thank you and very cool. Last game I played that had something like this was Everquest. Awesome feature. Works great so far.

Squeee. That is all.

On second thoughts, who's responsible for implementing this?

Ohhhh finally... ^^
Ok I may forgive and understand why you disabled S2S connections.
I forgive you a little less for using ejabberd (if you do).

But still it's very nice!

Pidgin on Windows doesn't yet support Jingle (media P2P -- voice and video over XMPP), because it misses the necessary codecs that I'm aware of (as I know one of its developers/contributors).

Only XMPP client which supports Jingle on Windows is PSI atm.
