I noticed that my character appeared very tall and thin, also when i went to space all of my UI peices were squished inward, they were very thin.
At RA5 my bridge crew took up almost from side to side and was about half of that.
I then went to options and saw that my settings were not set to 9:16, or 16:9 whichever is for widescreen tv's.
I changed it to the wide screen, then the screen went black and in white letters "Range not Valid"
Once that happened i could not exit the game, and the screen remained black- i had to restart the computer manually to get the screen back to normal.
Now i cannot get into the game to fix the problem, once i get past the "engage" button and it starts loading the screen goes black again-requiring a restart of the computer.
If anyone can help me out that would be wonderful.
Have you tried clicking on options on the bar at the top of the launcher before hitting engage? I believe there is an option for safe mode there. Might help.
