So I know cross posting is usually frowned upon. But GM_Destra just made a new stickied post in the STO Discussion Forums, and this is the C-Store Forums and I've seen dozens and dozens of threads asking for these items to be put in the C-Store. So I felt the need to at least let folks here know about the thread ...
Many of our players have been asking if the items that were given out as retailer bonuses will ever become available in the C-Store.
This is something we would love to be able to provide, and are currently working on getting this set up! While there are some bonus unlocks that may remain exclusive, there are a few bonuses that we’d like to make available for the community. This will allow players who purchased Star Trek Online and didn't get a bonus item they wanted the opportunity to do so!
Here’s the list of what we’re currently hoping to add soon:
* Deep Space 9 and TNG Series Uniforms
* The Original Series Uniforms
* Mirror Universe Uniforms
* The Ability to use NX as the prefix for your ship registry
* Tier 1 TOS Enterprise ship
* Federation/Klingon Faction Borg Bridge Officer
* Bloodwine Toast Emote
* Khan!! Emote
* Joined Trill Species (unlocks for both factions)
* Klingon Targ Pet
* Unique Tribble Pet
While it may require some time for implementation and QA, rest assured that we recognize the need and are working as quickly as possible to make it happen!

As stated above, I've seen dozens and dozens and dozens of threads asking for these items to be put in the C-Store.
A sad day indeed again cryptic epic fails. I say to all my fellow preorder lifers and my fellow preorder of multiple copies to get these items it's time to boycott don't waste your money on anything involving this game. There are those of us that spent alot of money on this game from the beginning to get these items and now they're going to be practically given away in the cstore from now on we should just save our money and whine and cry here and get them cheap or free
Again cryptic shame on you you suckered people into buying multiple copies of your game by offering different bonuses with each copy (regardless of wording in advertisement) that statements for dictionary boy you know who you are most of us figured this would be the only way to get these items so we bought multiple copies. Now you are going to make it available to everyone? This is WRONG
I only bought one copy and my LTS since I saw this coming a mile away. Cryptic have demonstrated their sly marketing tactics all too well and this is the point where the fun starts.
If those that feel this is a betrayal leave - Cryptic can sell the stuff on the C-Store because the dissenters have left.
If those that feel this is a betrayal stay - Cryptic can STILL sell the stuff but by staying your condoning that action.
Conclusion: Cryptic can do whatever they want to whoever they want and you cant do anything to stop them.
If you dont like it, leave otherwise get used to it and if your smart you might actually learn a lesson.
I find it hilarious that Cryptic's marketing is almost as brutal as EVE Online gameplay. I have to give credit to Cryptic for managing to milk an IP that has so many people willing to spend far too much cash for the slightest content.
What would be even better is if all of us that are unhappy about this buy stock in their company got to a shareholder meeting and raise hell about it

I really don't have a problem with stuff I received from my Best Buy CE being available on the C-Store. One thing I know I'll be getting is the Mirror Universe uniforms.
However, couple things to point out:
1. Are they going to "invalidate" the apparently "legal", codes people have been using to get the Wrath of Khan uniforms?
2. Beckett still seems to be giving away TOS uniform codes.
3. We "need" more uniform slots for all these uniforms.
To paraphrase the song line: if this is WRONG then i don't wanna be RIGHT.
Good to see cryptic get those items out to the c-store, i can now finish off my collection of the stuff i wanted without having to hunt down specific versions and weeping at the price i'm willing to pay for an ingame item.
A few very vocal people will make complaints ofcourse, but even they barely bothered to type a word about the TOS uniforms being given away for free*. If they don't care about that then they don't really have much of a leg to stand on with regards to the other items.
*( I was let down by that actually. I was away for a couple of weeks when that happened, so when i came back and read about it i was expecting thread after thread after thread of raging i quit posts but my search turned up mostly positive responses. It was no fun to read at all. :p )
