I just bough the borg bridge officer on the C-store. When ever i try to have her join my crew its ALWAYS a engineer. No where on the c-store does it say that she has to be an engineer if so i wouldn't have gotten her. I have my engineer teams pretty well set up and she would have been completely useless.
I really hope i am doing something wrong and if so i gladdly apologize for this post but if not Cryptic needs to change its c-store post on this product and refund my points or make it so you can choose or have a random class assigned to her so i can just delete and get it again in hopes of getting the one i want.

The Borg BO was and always shall be an engineer. It comes from the amazon.com preorder and since then it has been an engineer. The description probably should state that it is an engineering officer. Although if you don't have an BO with the space trait of Efficiency then I suggest using your new Borg BO because its a great trait to have.

OP, the Borg Bridge Officer is an Engineer. Always has been. They announced this not too long after they announced the offer thru Amazon.com.

Yes, they should have informed everyone that it is still an Engineer. However, you purchased a Bridge Officer, and nowhere in the game are you able to choose the class of a Bridge Officer you have been given. A refund is a bit too much to ask for, IMHO.

A refund of my points that i spent on the c-store not the game. And yes i know that you cant choose the class of your other BOs but at no point in the game did i spend real world money for a BO that states only that it is a Borg Bo and not a Borg Engineering BO.

I understand your frustration, and you could try contacting them directly about it. They may refund the points but also remove the Borg BO for you.

ya I'm going to try that. I never would have thought about keeping the BO and getting my points back. but we will see how it goes Thank you for your advice.

Thats not a bad idea thats an option i would like to see, a 12 or 24 hour point refund.

So you buy something in the stroe and get 12 hours to see if its for you and then if not get your poiunts back.

Yup, it always has been. It is the same exact BO, except now it has been released to everyone in the C-Store.
