Man, it has been awhile since Texas Independence Day was celebrated. Last I remember, it was in grade school. After that it was pretty much:

Texan 1: "Hey, its Texas Independence Day!" Texan 2: "O Rly?"

Oh well, any excuse to drink Shiner Bock...

Yeah, I blame that problem on two things:
-Two many foreigners in Texas (i.e. non-Texans).
-The Americanization of our education because of these foreigners.
