I'll throiw my 2 cents in.

I think the Connies are the best lookin' ship ingame followed by the Intrepids.

Which is why I am this close | | to scrapping my Dervish and going back to my Cerberus class. Advanced escorts have some serious power management issues, lacking that extra engineering console, but damn do they look cooler.

Or possibly Hephaestus class, I dunno yet.

Vesper class looks nicer than the Connie, and is supposedly its spiritual successor (according to Cryptic, anyway - I thought it looked more like the Excelsior class, but meh).

I've never cared much for the Excelsior and Vesper (because of the Excelsior resemblence) Classes. I'd accept the Excalibur as succcesor, but not the Vesper. Vespres, IMO, are what ya get when ya have spare Excelsior and Constitution parts lying around

Vesper looks nothing like the Constitution, I dunno where you're getting that.

....so everything but the saucer, nacelles, and hull.

So like 5% of the ship looks similar.

Exactally. And the impulse engines

The saucer section is more like an elongated TOS Connie's than an Excelsior's based on what I just looked at.

Think this have any chance is the other sub areas as "Tier 2 Cruiser Upgrade Idea," so ship age woulnd't interfear with the concept?
