I'd like to skip ahead a bit and add rule 34. You... Really don't want details on rule 34.

Ravenstein's Axioms:
1. Load on healing potions. We might need them.
2a. When in doubt, use fire.
2b. If fire doesn't work, then it's vulnerable to ice.
3. Heresy grows from idleness.
4. Knowledge is power. Guard it well.
5. The victor will be whoever has the most forces at the point of decision.
6. If you are going to play, play to win.
7. The plan for victory lies in mobility, flexibility, initiative, and force concentration. Know and understand these concepts.
8. Any problem can be solved through the use of enough explosives. If explosives are not working, you obviously are not using enough.
9. Use distractions and misdirections in every action you take.
10. The enemy's gate is down. Understand this phrase.

This was such a good pearl of wisdom; barring side tracks, it deserved revival.
Ty Jonathan_Kent for posting it in the first place.
