Klings can run amok on DS9? Well it's open to the Feds, I played dabo on my Fed main for two hours and got a million latinum that I can only use to buy halo projectors for my ship. A nice distraction but, for the time being, overall useless. Dabo is like an introverted MMO slot machine. You place bets on up to three numbers if the rings line up you win something. Now for the introverted part, no one talks! Partly because STO people seldom seem to type, unless they are in Sol spacedock or in a glitched global chat help channel, and the bets every thirty seconds block the little text people care to type.

If I read things correctly, Dabo is to be available on the neutral station (what's its name?), too.

I remember reading the name to, but I can't remember, and honestly.......who cares? It's a dumb minigame with limited rewards that people got every last one of on tribble in under an hour easily....

I love the complaints about the Gal X wrecking pvp. Way way wayyyyyy overestimating it's usefulness.

May as well drive a bus with flat tires and an 80 mm howitzer duct taped to the top for all the good it'll do ya.

I use it, but not for pvp.

And really, if you think cloaking is the only thing that makes klingons unique, then your probably not playing for the right reasons. As someone else pointed out earlier, they have alot more than just a piece of tech to make them unique.

Klingons can play Dabo at Drozana Station in Eta Eridani.

And im glad were getting a cloak Defiant. It fits my RP story.

I wish you Klingons would get some more content but do you always have to complain so much when feds get something and try to take it away from them?
Like little children in the sandbox.

Also im curious how is it going to kill PvP?
You guys win like 5 out of every 6 games.
So if we get a bit of an advantage, see it as a challange. You will still pwn us anyway if thats your worrys. lol

Somebody said that we will start griefing and hide all the match, which made me laugh because Klingons used to do that a lot when the game started.
But we could do that too now if we wanted. We could just full impulse into a corner of the map and turn on MES. You would never find us.
But do we do that? No.

It wont kill PvP. Well ... unless all Klingons quit because they now win every 4 out of 6 games.

Though In my opinion Cryptic should give the Klingons something special too though. Maybe that would make it fairer?

How about "Blind Fire" (cloak detect) for Bird of Preys and "Cannon Overload" for Neghvars (like in DS9: The Way of the Warrior)
Or something.

Was it not Einstein who made the observation that the inverse is also true? Oh the irony. Here let me spell it out, this is too delicious to trust to chance. So many of the Feds, (read: not all), complained so long and so hard about Klingon cloaking that Cryptic gave it to them.

I really like the ideas you closed your post with. Good thinking there.

They have their moments. More so before I re-speced to win but they still have their moments even after. A good Gal-X pilot is something to respect even in PvP.

I have used ramming speed to get away when I was in over my head in another MMO, I did not make that leap of logic in this game till I saw a Gal-X use it to get away from my old advanced escort. I kick myself in the ass for not realizing it sooner, and having to have an opponent show me, but that is the truth of it.

I have my suspicions that the better Gal_X PvPers are actually Klingon BoP pilots in disguise.

The cloak fest is people are pansies and have no guts to fight. Easy way to get the cloak fest to stop is for one person to sacrafice and uncloak with his team ready to pounce once the other teams fires. Even FvF the to teams usually fed ball and just wait for the other team to move in. But if no one attacks first it is a defensive stare contest. Which is all lame.

As for assult maps, if crytic put them at the top of the list more would play I think. People are lazy and wont scroll down. I find them the most fun map and it is sad they do not get played more.

Story-wise the counter to cloak was better sensors and a wide firing arc of fed ships. But since cryptic has taken those mechanics out of this game and made all ships equally limited and featureless. The poor numbers and PvP will get worse.
First of all the GalaxyX is a beast if properly specced and flown by someone other than a large majority of fed players who don't even know how to assign bridge officers on the thing.Or understand the mechanics of how the cloak should be used in combat.Feds are getting cloaks we all have to live with that but u can't ignore the 2 commander lvl bridge officer slots on 3 ships which will in fact be the ships the feds will choose because not flying them would be stupid. And klingon only get 1 ship that is crap not matter what side of the fence u find yourself sitting on.Cloaking defiants chain using CRF3 and HYT3 or BO3 for the beam users.Interpids keeping the abiltiy to become immune to all inc damage. For those that will argue Perfect shields getting nerfed. It changes to Perfect hull instead.with the soft cap on hull resists being 75% all the Armor generator needs to do is give a 25% bonus to become immune to damage. Not sure how the galaxy with saucer sep is gonna work haven't got that far in testing yet.But just from these examples no one can even try to make a justifed agruement that this is balanced in any way
