# 11 Agreed!

I agree! I beta'd STO, played it for a while after release, got to LC3 on my Engineer/Cruiser, then I created a new "toon" to play tactical/escort (just cause I wanted to know what I was missing, if anything) and a Klingon (which is super fun to play, BTW). Now both my Captains are LC (just got the tactical officer up there last night actually).

I actually quit playing a few months, and when I got back into the game I was really impressed with how much has changed. I believe that this will continue, and it's cool to be along for the ride.

Oh and this is the only MMO I've ever played this long. I'm plenty happy with my purchase.

Very happy you're enjoying it, see you in space!

then; there wont be any self-entitled nerf this-and-that threads..... and balance whiners.

Never have, and never will.... PvP can rot in the aisle for all I care.

(( they should have just left Klingons as an ally ))

so there.
so cause you dont like PVP you gonna tell all the ppl that actually like pvp to go play something else ?
YOU cant see any way for a pvp and pve player to coexist cause i am actully both and i am for balancing and i look at pve stuff as well . BUt then again i been pvp'n and pve'n since the mmo's where called muds . So i been fighting this pve VS pvp players prolly a lot longer then most . If you want a good game u have to accept both thats just the plain fact to be honest...

I've found that game reviews are much like movie reviews, in that it is not always accurate in predicting my enjoyment of a product. Sometimes even I'm able to admit that a movie is basically garbage...but I still enjoy the hell out of watching it.

WoW is by all technical accounts not a very good game, but I enjoyed it for years, back when, mostly because of the people I was playing it with. Likewise, LotRO is a technically better game in every respect, but when I've tried to play it, it (and its IP) bore me to tears.

Does being a Trekkie cause me to enjoy this game more than I would if I was 'objective'? Probably. Do I overlook technical problems for the enjoyment of flying around in a Bird of Prey and hammering Romulan ships with photon torpedos? Probably. Does that matter in the long run? Nope.

I must admit all the negative reviews and forums elsewhere stopped me trying STO, but I tried it last month and really enjoy the game. With all the things in the pipeline (and rumoured) its certainly going to keep me entertained for the forseeable future which is why I got the LTS yesterday.

nothing to do with ego...you can spout insults all you want...

I'm just posting my preference, and that preference is a non-pvp environment.

you can post your preference too !! cool eh ?...... it just seems yours is full of attacking a polar opinion as well.

did I say people had to go somewhere else? no. I said I prefer no PvP....if it didnt exist in this game, I wouldnt shed a tear.

egotist? there was no mention of my own self-importance or selfishness... again, just my preference in playstyle and observations of what is happenng in-game. and My opinion still stands that PvP is not working in STO, and if it is taken out..... all the better.

hope you have a nice day.
