Hope you enjoy it.
So you are saying that most people playing in stealthy FvK will become scum sucking time-griefers like some of the Klingon players are now?

Seems that the scum sucking time-griefer Klingons destroyed KvK for themselves, rather than their treasured in-game cloaking mechanic doing it, with their sore-loser and scumbag-esque attitudes towards eash other.

Sorta like the analogy.. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Except in those territory control missions where you can not be cloaked to take the objective...

MES... Meh.. It was good, but later killed by some whiney Klingons. Thanks to them though I do not have to waste a LT or LTC Sci BO slot on stealth any more... Instead, I am lovin the free cloak on my Galaxy X... Just as good as any non-BoP Klingon ship and with more hull hit points.

Heh, I can see it in the C-Store:

"Federation Cloaking Device: One Use Only. 100CP"

LOL. People would be lined up buying them in stacks of 20.

Yeah they are really queued up for cap-and-holds in KvK too... Sometimes I go *days* without seeing a single person queued for space KvK.

Until they come up with some long overdue mechanic for at least 'general area' cloak detection, having both sides with cloaks is madness and will kill pvp... hell, I am worried this will even pork FvF once *most* people have cloaked ships.

After queueing for 10-15-20 mins, people will *not* tolerate seeing an apparently 'empty' map or spending another 10 mins trying to bait the other side into uncloaking. No, they will just leave the map in disgust.

The GX was an arse-about-face decision... what was needed was well thought out mechanics for cloaked/cloaked PvP *before* releasing them to the Feds. This better get sorted out LONG before ever see the Romulans as a playable faction.

If KvK matches are dead because of cloak that dosent prove that Federation need to be unable to cloak.

If anything it proves the cloaking detection system needs to be vastly improved so that Cloak VS Cloak is a viable option.
Honestly, your going to be getting this with the Romulans.

RvR ?
RvK ?

Or what, we just want to have RvF and KvF 100% of the time because its EASIER !

Uh huh, Federation getting cloaks =/= Oh Noes we no longer have the advantage and might actually have to adapt our tactics !

last time i checked DS9 the defiant had cloaking...so why do you give a galaxy dreadnaught with cloaking and not an escort....anyway cruisers and science ships dont need cloaking (simply cause they're for exploration)... escorts need cloaking (cause their for recon and battle).i think thats pretty simple thinking...plus the reason why only the defiant had cloaking in the cannon.this is a time of war for the federation ...fighting on many fronts.its only logical that the latest escorts to be deploied will have cloaking devices!-plus the treaties dont count now cause the federation is in war with everyone...so clearly there is NO reason to keep being good guys while the rest of the galaxy tries to kill you!

also i believe that the dreadnaught was a mistake(thats my personal opinion and im not trying to impose it on anyone so dont troll me).why use a tactical ship when you can get the dreadnaught that has cloaking and can take double haevy cannons?....unless in 15th of july when the update comes the devs give us an escort that has many cool things like cloaking and probably more armor and crue, cause they're gonna have to balance this.and a cool science ship for the science guys and gals.

You will be happy to here that MES has been "unnerfed" again. MES 3 on Tribble is supposed to generate a cloak as powerful as regular cloaking devices.

It seems that even MES 1 isn't too bad. At least gives you a chance to not be the first victim.
