I played this in beta, and due to financial restrictions, couldn't really afford it until now. I have tried all three types of ships, and liked aspects about them all. I guess what I need to know is is there a specific type that is stacked right now, i.e. too many escorts, or too many science, or lacking cruisers, etc? I have 6 more levels until I have to choose, so hopefully someone can give me an idea. Thanks!

It used to be a sort of 5/10 escort, 3/10 cruiser, 2/10 science split. But things have balanced out a little more now. I see about the same amount of escorts and cruisers, though science ships are still the minority. Checking the forums for each kinda shows this. So if you want the least used go science.

Please, please, please do not choose the Ubiquitous Dreadnaught Cruiser...Everywhere you look you can see this 3 nacelled monstrosity, unless its cloaked that is!
