There is an option under graphics settings that does this - 'Half resolution'.

Turn this off and you will once again have the clarity of vision that you require

Half resolutions screens save at... drumroll... half res! Actually did not know that. Though half res drops everything down to half res unsuprisingly sure but that includes everything including that giant red circle with the star in the middle which is looking pretty sharp from where I'm standing, or sitting.

So I'd have to go with nope, though the difference in picture was quite clear when I turned half res on and off again. Thanks for playing, at the very least you played when everyone else either didn't know or aren't bothering to help.

sintri I ran into the same problem I fixed it by going into options and turning off Cinematic focus which is located under the video tab.

Patch

Depth of Field (or cinematic focus) blurs out things which arn't targetted/in focus. Imageshack sucks atm and isn't loading your 2nd two images so I can't be 100%.

I recommend turning both this and AO (option above it) off, AO uses a huge amount of resources for very little/missable improvements and DoF doesn't look amazing in STO.
