BAD Feeling about this.. *Crosses Fingers* I hope not, but Infogames REALLY Never creates anything, it "Obtains" the Tech (HINT: Sound Familar) then stamps thier name on it. SOE Is WAY Worse, but This is not going to be pretty.. this is what we call a hostal take-over. Just when they were going to soon open Beta's on CO?? Interesting Timeing..
i hope this is the right decision.
dont get me wrong, i like atari and infogrames, cause i grew up with their titles (amiga *nostalgic*), but the latest experience with neverwinter nights 2 was horrible enough, that im sitting here now, with crossed fingers, thinkin "it just can get better"..
I know I'm going to seem very petty complaining about this, but why does this mean a 2010 release for Star Trek Online? Q4 of 2009 made perfect sense to me; considering what we're being told about and shown so far, I was under the impression that Cryptic was making progress. The suggestion of a 2010 release gives me two suspicions: 1. they're nowhere near done and what we've seen so far was pushed through just to entice us, and/or 2. they're putting STO on the back burner in favor of a different project.
Don't get me wrong; I'll still wait for it. I don't doubt that it'll be worth the wait. But the possibility of another year being added to that wait doesn't sit well at all with me.
They are going to tell us that they aren't going to change anything, WHY, because we don't know EXSACTLY What is really set up yet, so they can change it all.. Why the extra year? So they can go over it with a fine tooth comb, Just like from spring 2009 for CO, it going to be WINTER 2009 or Summer 2010,
