A bug that involved Romulan Liberated Borg captains and their skills once they chose an ally
I understand that a Carrier and a Cruiser are not ever going to turn like an escort or even a Science Ship, despite the fact that they are in a weightless environoment. I understand that You are not going to reorient spaceflight to something more realistic becuase you are afraid people will get disoriented if they don't have an "up or down". I understand that somewhere these decisions were made after probably a great deal of discussion. Fair enough.
What I don't understand is why you wouldn't make ships that have no turn radius have to circle around for drops instead of just increasing the range at which they can pick the drops up. Not anomalies and things people compete for but drops. I have been flying a carrier and I'll tell you, I just leave the drops. It's too much trouble even with Aux to Dampeners and Evasive to get that boat to turn enought to go after my drops, it's just not worth it. If I am feeling enterprising I may go after them after the mission is over but if you are on a team and the map is going to force you to accept to leave or stay, then forget it.
The ridiculous sprialing upwards or downwards and Planet wide turn radius of these ships necessitates an easier way to retrieve the rewards because ... if you can't turn around to get your reward for the fight you just won, it's not really a reward is it? It's a carrot on a stick, a cruel joke, and a poke in the eye of the player.

lol
moving a mouse is less "work" then doing the dishes in my experience
(or picking up cards in poker, or just about anything i think)
the effort and labor of mousing around on a video game?

You're funny but I am talking about time rather than "effort". But even then, trying to angle a massive ship with the existing Z axis is not only boring but tedious. So while I appreciate your sarcasm, it's misplaced. I don't have a problem pickiing up drops in my escort. But positioning and turning a carrier istead of simply making it easier seems like an oversite.
