I understand why you need variable position in "air" but really what is the point of variable wings in space since there is no engine components in the wings? So please forgive my ignorance. I mean in space you can have a flying brick but with the right warp field and inertial dampeners it is just as effective as something as sleek as a Bop.
I would love to have variable wings my klingon ship, but I do have to admit, it would be pointless. The whole point of the variable wing is for atmospheric flight and landing on planets. niether of which is an option in star trek right now. on that note, a landing screen added to the loading of ground missions, with you starting next to your landed klingon ship would be awesome
on a side note, one thing I think needs to be added to klingons that isn't are shuttlecraft / fighters
If you had read my statement more carefully you would have noticed that I wrote that I first saw it in the old Star Trek vx Star Wars mod for Armada, that was years ago.
Of course it has evolved since then and noone is going to say the model in BC is the same as in Armada, it is obviously a completely new model, but its general shape is still the same as the one from the old STvsSW mod.
Besides, taking the forward platform and resizing it, then taking a section of the rear platorm, hitting the "extrude" button and adding a pair of impulse engines does not mean I cannot see it for what it originally was.
We're currently discussing what additional Gorn ship designs might look like and I build two new Gorn ships, one for Tier 3 and one for Tier 4.
Other then a few minor changes and the texture it looks very similar to the BC version, and still nothing like an XQ platform (even the central hull is a cube rather then a hexagon). You are just seeing what you want to see. Also spheres are spheres a very generic shape (LOL!), and idk what you're "currently discussing" in other threads (or w/e??) but lets keep this thread to the topic at hand, and not your false memories.
