# 1 LoL @ the new Q System
08-19-2010, 09:37 AM
As I had said before. No Q system is going to fix the problem of people not Q-ing up. I was just on. A lot of Feds, no Kliks. It was the same thing yesterday before the patch.

Note: All Q systems blow.

Who said the new Queue system was going to fix the underpopulation of the Klingon Faction?

Yeah, really. The question is, if there are 5 Feds and 4 Klingons in the queue, did the queue eventually offer a 4v4? And, when it did, did the game actually start or not?

I had no problem getting a match as Klink. Even if I signed up for an empty queue, other Klingons soon saw there was a potential game and joined up as well. The new minimum player requirements made this MUCH easier.

I've also noticed that the numbers of Klinks online varies by time of day. Sorry your narrow time slot was empty.

As long as we don't focus on the really issue of the Qs being empty, who cares the Qs "work".

If someone can't add, what good would it do to teach them algebraic formulas?

It's not as hard to get into a PvP as you make it out to be.

And how, if I may ask, would you do to fix the issue with the lack of players (PvP:ers more precisely)?

If you ask me working Queues is a step in the right direction, who would want to try PvP if you can't even get into a game?

How?
First lets be honest and say Q system in itself blows, in any game I have played that had a Q system, it blew. So give us World pvp.

If they dont want to give us world PvP. then you have to give people an insentive to Q. I dont need it cause I pvp for the love pvp. But other people wont do it unless they get something for it at the end, like a reward.

I have been in this http://i250.photobucket.com/albums/g...yrusPars/s.jpg

for 40 minutes now. If you think thats not bad, then not sure what is.

Because 9v1 world PvP (your screenshot shows 9 feds queued to your 1 klingon) would be so much better?

I believe Open World PvP is on the "to-do list" just not on the top of it. I assume that sort of thing would take months to make and right now i doubt they have the time.

40 mins? Sure, i agree, that's not good. But the reason for that is most like because most players don't think the ground combat system is very fun (including me). That's an other issue but my main problem with ground is the skills system. Right now it feels like It's either; be good at space or be good at ground, or mediocre on both.

No you are right, sitting in starbase for an almost and hour now doing nothing while waiting for a Q is better.

Fighting against the odds is nothing new to me, use to do it in SWG all the time in open world. 30 vs 8 and so on.
