What I mean is, as well as the NPCs on Earth Spacedock who fix ships and heal injuries, and as well as those items you can use to insta-fix or heal (I play on normal so IDK what they're called), we should have a chief engineer and a chief medical officer stationed on board.

One way to achieve that would be to have sick bay and engineering roamed by your highest ranking Sci and Engi BOs respectively, getting them off the bridge and where they should be.

Do we REALLY need the brig just at the minute? Who are you planning to put in there? If you're suggesting missions which require capture of NPCs who then spawn in your brig until you turn in the mission then I'm all for it. But you should be stuck with them until you deliver them in person to whatever destination, and those missions should be timed so you can't leave them to rot in there for eternity.

I would like to be able to create a plaque with the pins of my choise to show all the accolades i have done in both captain's quarters and ready room. and if i invited someone to my bridge they can click on the plaque and it would show a larger image so they can see what accolades i added to it.

I was thinking along the same lines... and came up with some others:
1) Shuttle bay
2) Why do NPC's address me when clicked on the starbase and not on my ship?
3) Where is my cook and bartender at? Why are there no drinks on the bar? or people sitting/staring out the window?
4) Definately need option for uniform standardization
5) Mini games - Align the warp core, operate on patient, poker vs bridge crew... whatever, just make it fun
6) Customizable Captain's quarters - Change the plants, pictures... etc
7) Replicators that work... even if it just makes a cup of coffee
8) Intergrate the ship into some missions... kinda like the Quarantine one...
9) Make the Captain's chair interactable so I can just click it to sit down... the bed too...
10) An exercise room where you can spar with with friends/crew/NPC using Bat'leths (kinda like a pvp zone or 2 player mini game)
11) A holodeck with a combat training program, peaceful seashore program... maybe an actual mission storyline that takes place in the holodeck? You go in and your clothes change to "x" time period... yada, yada

I really would like the ship interior to become more a part of the game... it's really cool but nothing to do other than "Hey, check out my bridge, here's my accolades..."

Need senior officer ship position. And every senior officer is one of your BO.

Chief Medical Officer in Sickbay
Chief Engineer in Engineering

Be able to choose seat for my BO on the bridge. I dont my tac officer to sit next to me. Those seats are reserved for the XO and the Counselor.

I've seen the conference room in a few diplomatic missions and would like to see it as a room you can normally enter on your ship...clearly the design is already there.

well it would be nice to have some choices on ur eng layout...im sure there is many different types of layouts they can put in the game to make the ship feel more unique to the player instead of just one type of eng section

I think all of the changes suggested would be great, especially the usefullness they would add once the UGC becomes available, specially the brig, imagine being able to make a mission where u have a prisoner that you have to interrigate (sry for spelling, I don't want to open Word for a quick post like this) to find the location of x starbase/mining facility/etc where some questionable actions are being taken place.
