Cold Call: Puzzle was poorly design. Nothing in the mission told you there was a puzzle and no clues telling you how to solve it. Most people miss this puzzle and those who did do it only found out about it from the forum or word of mouth. Also, puzzles needs to be shared or at least allow each player on team to do it and there needs to be a accolade for these puzzles. Oh if the puzzle is being shared no one can tell since only the person who did the puzzle got the popup boxes and there nothing in the log to show it.

And for Cold Call there was no mission assignment from StarFleet telling you to go to Deferi Space. Again we had to tell people that there was new weekly Episode and were to go and how to finish the puzzle.

If you would had tested it on Tribble first we would had told you these things.

Please look at the video game DS9: The Fallen. The puzzles in that game were well written.

I really believe that the programmers here are not gamers. They don't think as gamers but as programmers. I really miss Interplay motto "By Gamers for Gamers."

NOTE:

Since I am part of a fleet we were able to use our Alts to share the Cold Call with our members who had already did the mission so they could redo it and get the puzzle.

The puzzle isn't really active yet. http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho...d.php?t=177926

And as to the new misson.. you really had to tell people where to go for the most talked about thing recently put out? The thing mentioned on the launcher with a link to a news post http://forums.startrekonline.com/sho...d.php?t=177745 with instructions in it as to how to get there and who to talk to?

The info is there, suggest your fleetmates read the news next time.

There's a Deferi Ambassador in Earth Space Dock right near where you beam in. He asks you to go to his system to help them. It's also on the event calendar. It's been mentioned in many posts.

(The puzzle is really for a later mission.)

There's also that bulletin board message that every character on my account had pop up in the middle of my screen the day this went live. That kind of told me where to go and what to do.
