Hey all, I've got a bunch of Bridge Officers I'm looking to get rid of, but I'm curious if there's a good list of what traits and abilities are more rare than others? I know prices for BOs are all over the map on the Exchange, and there's no way to search for BOs with certain abilities or traits to see what they're selling for. Thanks!

The only "Rare" (blue + purple) ability that goes for high prices is Beam Array: Overload (rank 3, obv).

The "Very Rare" (purple only) space abilities (all rank 3) are:

Cannon: Scatter Volley
Target Auxiliary Subsystems
Target Shields Subsystems
Torpedo Spread

Energy Siphon
Mask Energy Signature
Polarize Hull
Transfer Shield Strength
Tyken's Rift

Auxiliary to Structural
Reverse Shield Polarity

These are far from equally valuable, of course.

Also include
Beam Overload 3
Tractor Beam Repulsors 3
Boarding Party 3

I included Beam Array: Overload. The other two are uncommon (green) officer abilities and not worth anything on the Exchange.

So that's powers. What about traits?

As far as I know, everyone wants Efficient. I don't know if there is much "research" in other NPC ground traits, or even fi there is, if there is a demand for it on the Exchange.

I don't think there's demand for particular traits other than efficient, rather its all about trait combos.

Also: Female, human-looking boffs (human, vulcan, trill, bajoran, betazoid) are prized a lot higher than their male counterparts!

I have a human female BO with "Leadership: Space trait. Grants 15% faster damage and subsystem's repair."

Since nobody ever seems to know what I'm talking about, I'm thinking this might be exceptionally rare.

Nope. All human BOs have this trait. Also there is some debate over whether or not it actually does anything or not.


As for ground traits that are valuable I know of a few;

Vulcan: Superior Mind Meld (expose)
Vulcan: Superior Nerve Pinch (expose)
Betazoid: Superior Pacification (expose)

Essentially these are like abilities providing the chance to expose targets.
