# 1 Scan for Mission Objectives
09-12-2010, 04:18 PM
Yes, I understand that trivial data that the Feddy's want is not important to Klingons. However, when I am trying to destroy 5 borg devices, or 5 mutated plants, I want to be able to find them without running around for 10+ minutes playing dang hide and seek. Klingons have sensors, we are not fools!

According to a recent post by Stormshade the problem is that the "scan" for function is made to find interactive not destructable objects. This would explain why when I'm on my fed looking for that last group of ships to destroy or something I can't use the scan feature.

Very well, then why are there not goal circles on the map? Areas with mission objectives can be marked.

Agreed. They need to find away to mark these things so we don't waste time running around. Stormshade said something in his post about a possible "fix" to the problem, but did not indicate what it could be.

AGREE!

I just spent a very boring 15 minutes running around an abandoned Klingon starship looking for the 5th "Cloaking Node". In a Fed mission, that kind of item could be found with a Tricorder scan. All the Klingons do is proclaim "There is nothing of interest to Empire here." or "No anomalies found."

Very annoying.

I do have to admit the irony that it was a "cloaking" node though :p Regardless whatever fix they have needs to be applied, and applied soon.

As for the crappy fog, change character costume.
Deletes all the sulpherous fog.

Speaking of fog,60% of these planets i go down on DO NOT look M class, ive seen a few that look L class and even one Y class "Demon" planet.
It had a hazy yellow sulpherous atmosphere, lava rock things(Mini volcanoes) all over the place, huge pits and no plants.
