I submitted the report after the crash but I thought I'd post here too. I've done Skirmish twice now (1 tac, 1 sci) and both times after clicking Return to Ship at the end the game crashed and took me to my desktop. Based on the chatter in the zone it's happening to a lot of people so I thought I'd post here so they all had a place to say something if they wished.

Same here. Another possible, if unsurprising, common trait after 2 attempts: updater verifies files on relog.
